Behind these images, there is more than just a celebration - they tell the story of a farewell filled with gratitude and respect.
The farewell celebration for Senior Consultant Dr. Miehe was a special moment for us students of Human and Dental Medicine at University Medicine Greifswald.
She inspired and shaped us with her knowledge, her patience, and her passion for anatomy.
Her outstanding decades-long commitment, her kind and warm nature, and of course her great enthusiasm for “die Lülli” will stay with us for a long time and were truly honored on this farewell occasion.
These images capture not only the goodbye, but also the appreciation we feel for her.

Final Course Day – Dissection Course | Summer Semester 2025
To mark the final day of the dissection course in the Summer Semester 2025, I had the opportunity to photographically accompany the students of Human and Dental Medicine.
The result is a series of authentic group photographs from the individual course groups, reflecting not only the special atmosphere of the anatomy lecture hall, but also the sense of teamwork and the emotional significance of this final stage of the dissection course.

Save the Kidney – Party at the Geokeller
I had the pleasure of capturing the “Save the Kidney” party at the Geokeller in Greifswald. The venue transformed into a vibrant club, full of dancing students and dynamic lighting.
What made the evening truly unique: our professors, who lecture by day, took over the DJ booth and got the crowd moving – an unforgettable mix of academia and party energy.
The photos capture the excitement, joy, and special moments of the night – from the dance floor to spontaneous group shots. A night to remember, beautifully documented for everyone to relive.

During this moving memorial service, I had the privilege of capturing quiet yet powerful moments as a photographer. It was a day of respectful remembrance for those who donated their bodies to science — a selfless legacy that offers profound insight to medical education and to us as students.
The ceremony was organised by students of University Medicine Greifswald to meet the body donors and their families with dignity, gratitude, and compassion.
My photographs tell the story of this special day — of remembrance, appreciation, and the quiet sense of togetherness that arises from this unique act of giving.
